Georgia man dies from drowning. He was in the Atlantic Ocean in Myrtle Beach, SC area
A Georgia man died after being pulled from the ocean, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
Kemal Alic, 61, of Duluth, was transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center Wednesday morning, according to a press release from Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard. Alic was pulled from the ocean near 18th Avenue South in Myrtle Beach, the release said.
He was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m. from asphyxiation due to drowning, the release said.
