We have a new No. 2 team in college football.

Alabama retained the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 after easily beating Miami on Saturday. Georgia moved up from No. 5 to No. 2 after a 10-3 win over Clemson later that night. The Bulldogs jumped the Tigers, Oklahoma and Ohio State with the win.

Clemson moved from No. 3 to No. 6 while Ohio State moved up a spot to No. 3 after beating Minnesota. Oklahoma beat Tulane 40-35 in a game moved from New Orleans to Norman. The Sooners fell from No. 2 to No. 4 as a result. Texas A&M is at No. 5.

Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Iowa State and Iowa round out the top 10. Iowa and Iowa State play their annual rivalry game in Week 2 in what's the only game of the weekend involving teams in the top 10.

Indiana, LSU, Louisiana and Washington all fell out of the Top 25 after losses in Week 1. Indiana lost to Iowa, LSU lost to UCLA, Louisiana lost to Texas and the Huskies lost to FCS opponent Montana.

UCLA is now No. 16 in the poll after that LSU win. Virginia Tech jumped into the poll at No. 19 after beating North Carolina. The Tar Heels fell from No. 10 to No. 24.
