Georgina Rodriguez Goes Sheer in Emerald Alaïa Dress at the 2024 Red Sea International Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Georgina Rodriguez brought jewel tones to the red carpet on Thursday at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The model and partner of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo modeled a sheer emerald Alaïa dress covered in rhinestones. Rodriguez’s long-sleeve frock also featured gathered fabric at the hips. She accessorized with diamond-encrusted hoops and open-toe heels.

Rodriguez wore her dark tresses in a side part, while her makeup consisted of rosy blush, winged eyeliner and a nude lip.

Rodriguez was hardly the only star to favor sparkles at the event, with Cynthia Erivo and Emily Blunt wearing crystalized couture by Carolina Herrera and Tamara Ralph, respectively.

In October, Rodriguez posed for Guess’ holiday campaign, modeling clothing and accessories from the brand’s festive collection.

“Working with [photographer] Nima Benati was amazing, and the holiday collection is absolutely stunning; the craftsmanship and design pieces made me feel so glamorous and comfortable in my own skin,” Rodriguez said in a statement. “It is truly an honor be part of the Guess family, and I am absolutely thrilled for the wonderful opportunity to be a Guess Girl again.”

Rodriguez previously starred in the fall 2023 Guess and Marciano campaign, also shot by Benati, who captured “a day in the life” of the model. Rodriguez was also featured in the brand’s spring 2024 campaign, where she showcased looks featuring vibrant polka dots and distressed denim.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been romantically involved since 2016. Together, they share two daughters, Alana and Bella, born in 2017 and 2022, respectively.
