  • Gloria Allred, the lawyer representing several victims of Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking ring, urged Prince Andrew, Duke of York, through a blunt advertisement to speak to the FBI.

  • The ad, plastered on a school bus driving outside of Buckingham Palace, included photos of the duke and a message calling for him to answer questions.

  • Virginia Giuffre has previously alleged that the duke had sex with her multiple times when she was trafficked by Epstein at 17 years old.

This weekend, Londoners may have spotted Prince Andrew's face plastered on the side of an American-styled yellow school bus circling Buckingham Palace. "If you see this man," the bus's sign stated, "please ask him to call the FBI to answer their questions." The message included a number to the FBI's national press office, as well as the address to U.S. lawyer Gloria Allred's website.

Allred, who represents several victims of Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking ring, tells HarpersBAZAAR.com in a statement why she organized the blunt advertisement.

"I have been urging him to speak with the FBI re Jeffrey Epstein on radio and television and by sending a letter to his home in Dec. 2019. I represent 5 victims of Jeffrey Epstein and I have filed 3 lawsuits in New York on behalf of 3 of his victims whom he sexually abused when they were underage," Allred says. "He did not respond to my letter and as far as I know he did not respond to the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York who held a press conference recently and also urged Prince Andrew to speak with the FBI."

Andrew has faced intense scrutiny for his close relationship to the disgraced financier. Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's accusers, has also formerly alleged that the Duke of York had sex with her multiple times when she was trafficked at 17 years old.

The duke has maintained that he has "no recollection" of meeting Giuffre. A statement from Buckingham Palace has also attempted to distance Andrew from Epstein, stating that he "has been appalled by the recent reports of Jeffrey Epstein's alleged crimes. His Royal Highness deplores the exploitation of any human being and the suggestion he would condone, participate in or encourage any such behaviour is abhorrent."

Last November, Andrew stepped down from his royal duties due to the controversy shrouding his "former association" with Epstein. In a statement, the duke said, "I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required."

In her statement to BAZAAR.com, Allred continues, "I believe that victims have been denied justice in the case of Jeffrey Epstein. At the very least they deserve the truth. Prince Andrew could and should provide what he knows to the FBI, because they are still conducting an investigation into who may have conspired with Jeffrey Epstein to sex traffic underage girls to him."
