Shake a tail feather: Your daily guide to CBC's Turkey Drive

CBC Edmonton's annual Turkey Drive is almost over so now is your chance to give back and have a gobble of a good time.

For the 24th year in row, we're fundraising for the Edmonton Food Bank and bringing festive cheer to events across the city.

With 19 events in 8 days, we will be popping up all over Edmonton this year. Here's where and when you can find us:

Wednesday, Dec. 18

5:30 - 8:30 a.m. A festive broadcast

Join Min Dhariwal and Tara McCarthy as they broadcast live on Edmonton AM from Reinette Cafe & Patisserie in Mill Woods, 301 Woodvale Road West.

Reinette Cafe is whipping up a special Turkey Drive macaron, with all proceeds going to the campaign.

Come by, grab a coffee and make a donation.

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Get in the spirit with some holiday classics

Join our Holiday viewing party at CBC Edmonton's Centre Stage.

We'll be screening Merry Christmas Mr. Bean and Frosty The Snowman on CBC Gem.

3 - 6 p.m. Get Merry in Mill Woods

The Radio Active and CBC News at Six crews will be broadcasting live from Mill Woods Senior and Multicultural Centre, 2610 Hewes Way.

Join CBC Edmonton's Zahra Premji live from this amazing facility in the heart of Mill Woods that offers activities and resources dedicated to improving the lives of Edmonton seniors.

The campaign is almost over so now is the time to give. We're hoping to raise a grand total of $500,000 this holiday season but we need your help.

Donate in person by joining us at any of the festive events between Dec. 12 and 19, or by dropping off a donation at CBC Edmonton.
