Congratulations are in order for Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr, who has revealed she is expecting her first child with partner Brad Richardson.

The actress, who played Vanessa Abrams on the CW series, announced the happy news on her Instagram page.

Sharing a happy black-and-white picture of herself showing off her baby bump to Brad, Jessica captioned the snap: "Full of joy!".

The baby makes Jessica a first time mother, while ice hockey player Brad shares a daughter with his ex-wife.

The star's baby news comes a few days after it was revealed fellow Gossip Girl alum Penn Badgley had welcomed a baby boy with wife Domino Kirke, the latter announcing the news by sharing a placenta artwork.

"His heart shaped home #40dayspostpartum #placentaart," she captioned the picture.

Leighton and Adam already share a four-year-old daughter called Arlo Day, and explained recently that their child missed them a lot while the couple worked together on Single Parents.
