Grass fire closes part of State Road 874 in Kendall as firefighters work to put it out
A grass fire in Kendall has partly closed a section of State Road 874 as rush hour looms closer.
Around 2 p.m. Thursday, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire near 874 and North Kendall Drive. Four suppression units are battling the grass fire.
As firefighters work to put it out, three lanes on SR 874 northbound between Kendall Drive and Bird Road have been closed, along with railroads in the area.
