Greenstone OPP respond to 33 calls over weekend

GREENSTONE, ONT. — Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police responded to more than 30 calls over three days.

OPP said they responded to 33 calls for service from Friday, Jan. 29 to Sunday, Jan. 31 and laid 15 charges, according to a news release issued Feb. 1.

Some of the calls including two bail violations, two drug offences, two traffic complaints, two mental health-related calls, and eight provincial statutes.

Police are reminding residents to report minor crimes through the online reporting system called Citizen Self Reporting (CSR).
