The FBI broke up a right-wing militia plot to kidnap the governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer and put her on “trial.”
Now six members of the Wolverine Watchmen group have been charged in federal court, while seven others face terrorism charges in state court.
Authorities broke up the plot and arrested the militia members after a raid at a home in the state on Wednesday night.
Officials say the group planned on murdering “tyrants” or grabbing a sitting governor ahead of the election.
