Gritter lorry left burnt out in blaze

A "significant" fire involving a gritter lorry has been tackled by firefighters in Shropshire.

Crews from Market Drayton and Hodnet were sent to the scene of the large vehicle fire in Ollerton at about 20:00 BST on Monday.

The lorry was extensively damaged, with the cab burnt out, but nobody was injured.

It is believed the fire started becuse of an electrical fault, Shropshire Fire and Rescue said.
