Guilbeault explains what a ban means for single-use plastics in Canada

Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault said Monday that the ban on single-use plastics in Canada means that "by-and-large" the products, with some exceptions, won't be manufactured in Canada and in turn won't be able to purchase or "get a hold of them." He said it was still possible, come 2024, that some businesses might have them due to them still getting rid of stock.
