Gwyneth Paltrow shuts down claims that Kourtney Kardashian's Poosh 'copied' Goop: 'There is a place for all of us'

They're both celebrities who have launched successful lifestyle brands with a focus on wellness. But Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow says she has no problem with Kourtney Kardashian launching Poosh, which the reality star has described as "the modern guide to living your best life." According to the Poosh site, Kardashian, 43, created the brand because she "felt that there was something missing in the healthy lifestyle space."

During an Instagram Story Q&A on Friday in which Paltrow welcomed fans to send her questions, the Oscar winner fielded this query: "Are you upset that Poosh copied you?" The answer is no, Paltrow, 49, insisted.

"The idea that women need to be in competition is legacy patriarchy bull****," the actress wrote. "There is room for EVERY woman to fulfill her dreams. I used to fall prey to this kind of thinking years ago, so I understand where it comes from. Now I get so happy when I see new wellness businesses. There is a place for all of us."

Paltrow also showed Kardashian some love, writing, "[Kourtney Kardashian] is a really good person."

"#KRAVISFOREVER," she ended her note, referencing Kardashian and new husband Travis Barker, who are due to celebrate their wedding in Italy this weekend after getting legally married in Santa Barbara, Calif., last week.

During her Q&A session, Paltrow also made it clear that she and Dakota Johnson, the longtime girlfriend of her ex-husband Chris Martin, are on friendly terms. At a fan's request, the star — now married to producer Brad Falchuk — shared a selfie with the Lost Daughter actress.
