Gwyneth Paltrow is a proud mom.

The Shakespeare in Love star took to Instagram today to share well wishes for her daughter Apple Martin on her 18th birthday. In the caption of a photo of Martin, the mom of two wrote that she’s a “bit at loss for words” over the big milestone — but that didn’t stop her from sharing a sweet message to her lookalike daughter.

“I could not be more proud of the woman you are,” Paltrow, who shares her daughter and son Moses with her ex-husband Chris Martin, wrote. “You are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more. Proud doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put into words. You are deeply extraordinary in every way. Happy birthday my darling girl.”

She continued, “I hope you know how special you are, and how much light you have brought to all who are lucky enough to know you. Especially me. I say it all the time and I will never stop… in the words of auntie Drew, I was born the day you were born. I love you.”

Paltrow’s followers also sent love to the teenager on her birthday. One wrote, “Apple is lucky to have as her mom, happy birthday to your amazing daughter Gwyneth.” Another added, “So beautiful just like her momma and such a lovely note! Happy Birthday Apple!!!”

Last year, the Glee alum opened up to W Magazine about what it was like to welcome her first child.

“I’ll never forget when I had my daughter, Apple, the incredible rush of love that I had for her,” Paltrow shared at the time. “I said to my mother, almost in shock, ‘Do you love me this much?’ It reframed completely how I saw motherhood.”

Earlier this year, Paltrow also shared an Instagram tribute to Martin for International Women’s Day, writing, “Today I want to pay tribute to one (technically almost) woman on the cusp of it. This woman gives me hope for the future of sisterhood, and for the future of our planet. And this woman has made me the woman I am today more than anyone else.”
