Halifax police say a suspicious death that occurred at a residence in Dartmouth has been ruled a homicide.
Police say that was the conclusion of the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service, which conducted an autopsy overnight.
They say the victim has been identified as 35-year-old Alexander Joseph Frederick Thomas from East Preston, N.S.
Police found Thomas's body early Saturday after they were called to an address on Braeside Court in Dartmouth.
Investigators have not released any details on how the victim died.
