Halifax police look to ID driver who hit 13-year-old girl

Halifax police are asking for the public's help to find the driver of a car who hit a 13-year-old girl at a crosswalk on Monday at the corner of Robie Street and Lady Hammond Road.

The girl was not seriously hurt and didn't require medical attention. Halifax Regional Police said the driver stopped and asked if the girl was OK, but didn't give his name or contact information.

Police said the girl describes him as a white man, in his late 20s to early 40s, with short brown hair and tattoos on his arms.
