Who Is Hamster on 'The Masked Singer'? Fans Are Super Confident They Know Right Now

Never in our wildest dreams did we think we'd see a hamster singing "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" on primetime television — but then, The Masked Singer came along.

During the sixth episode of the show, Masked Singer fans were again introduced to Hamster, a puffy, orange-colored rodent who is definitely not messing around when it comes to their singing talent. Already we can tell that Hamster is going to be tough to beat with their bling-y ensemble and impressive showmanship. But who could this talented furry friend be? Let's take a look at what folks are saying.

Who is Hamster on The Masked Singer?

Obviously, we're pretty early on in the competition and have only seen Hamster perform once, so it's hard to say. But the clues give us some indication:

  • Hamster rocks bling-y headphones and colorful-jeweled necklaces.

  • The singer in Hamster's costume says their body is "very much shaped like a hamster."

  • Hamster felt "stuck" in a bit of a "wheel, going around and 'round."

  • Hamster's toys in the clue package are adorned with star decorations.

  • Hamster says they jump from "one project to the next" with their "famous friends."

  • Hamster's first clue package included an orange fish and a picture of Alcatraz island.

  • Hamster's locker included a baseball bat and strawberry plush toy.

Again, we don't have a ton of evidence at the moment. But based on that alone, judge Ken Jeong thought it could be a former SNL star, such as Will Ferrell or David Spade. Jenny McCarthy thought it could be Rob Schneider. Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger saw the Hamster's dance moves and thought actor and comedian John Leguizamo.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, fans are guessing: Matthew Perry, Adam DeVine, Steve Martin and Bill Murray.

Basically, we're all over the place at this point. But if Hamster keeps on whipping out amazing performances like they did on Wednesday, chances are we'll have plenty of time to come up with some really solid guesses in the very near future. Keep on checking back here in the weeks to come and we promise we'll crack the code eventually.
