Harry and Meghan have reportedly arrived in Rome for Misha Nonoo's wedding
One of the Duchess of Sussex's closest friends, fashion designer Misha Nonoo, is set to wed in Italy this weekend. Nonoo is tying the knot to oil tycoon Michael Hess in Rome – and Meghan and Harry are said to be on the guest list.
The wedding extravaganza is set to take place over the weekend with many guests already arriving in the Italian city this afternoon. Although no pictures have surfaced, numerous tabloids (including The Sun) are reporting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Rome today ahead of their tour of South Africa, which begins on Monday.
However, Meghan and Harry will not be the only A-listers, or the only royals, on the guest list at this wedding.
Nonoo is known to be friends with Harry's cousin Princess Beatrice, as well as supermodel Karlie Kloss, her husband Joshua Kushner, his brother Jared and his wife, Ivanka Trump, meaning they could all be in attendance.
Meghan and Nonoo – who have been close for years – were pictured together last week at the launch of the duchess' capsule collection with Smart Works, of which Nonoo had designed a few pieces for. The pair was seen hugging and Nonoo later went on US TV to talk about her close friend's project.
"I think [the criticism] is unjust, and I think that people should really focus on the good work [she and Harry] do," Nonoo said on The Today Show. "I think that is something that her and I bonded over from the very early days of our relationship was that she genuinely seeks to help people."
"It comes from a place deep within her where she really wants to make people's lives better. She's the consummate professional, and she's been extremely hands-on in the project, and it's something that she's really passionate about.”
Nonoo was in attendance to watch Harry and Meghan tie the knot at Windsor Castle last May – and she is also rumoured to have been the friend that set them up, although no party has ever confirmed this.
