Registration for West Lincoln’s Harvest Routes Celebration of Arts and Culture is now open.

“We’re so happy to bring back this well-loved event that brings our community together while supporting our local arts and culture,” said Wendy Beaty, co-ordinator of recreation services for West Lincoln.

The event is a series of workshops hosted by businesses that showcase activities indicative of local culture, for both individuals and families to participate in.

This year’s event will include workshops by The Watering Can, My Painted House and Ang Design Shop. Set for Oct. 1 and 2, events are being hosted at West Lincoln Community Centre, the Wellandport Community Centre and Caistor Community Centre.

“This is an exciting and timely opportunity for citizens to get out and enjoy creative activities and much-needed socialization in a manner that is both safe and fun,” said Bev Hendry, chief administrative officer for West Lincoln.

Workshops are $15 per person and registration can be made via email at recreation@Westlincoln.ca or phone call at 905-957-3346 ext. 4682.

A full list of workshop times and locations is available at www.westlincoln.ca/en/recreation-and-leisure/harvest-routes.aspx.
