Heads up, drivers: Work along Highway 101 through Pismo Beach could cause delays. Here’s when

Two off-ramps on Highway 101 in Pismo Beach will close for construction this week.

According to a news release from Caltrans, the northbound off-ramp at Price Street will close Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. because of a city paving project on the same road.

Then on Thursday, the southbound off-ramp at Hinds Avenue and Price Canyon Road will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to continue the city’s paving work, Caltrans said.

The California High Patrol, flaggers and detour signs will be in place to assist with traffic control, Caltrans said. The agency added a reminder to drive slowly and safely in work zones.

“Highway workers deserve to get home safely too,” the agency said.
