The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for Saturday night into Sunday morning, warning of low visibility due to fog throughout most of the Central Coast.

According to the advisory, visibility could drop to less than one-fourth of a mile.

The fog could make driving hazardous, the Weather Service warned. Drivers were advised to “slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”

The advisory was expected to expire at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
