Health Matters: Many more dentists on board to provide care under dental-care program, Holland says

Nearly 450,000 Canadians have received care under the new Canadian Dental Care Plan, with more than 2.3 million approved to receive coverage, according to health minister Mark Holland. Roughly 75% of all dentists and dental specialists now accept patients with coverage under the plan following a change last month that allowed providers to participate on a claim-by-claim basis. The Dutch government on Friday said it would expand export licensing requirements for ASML's 1970i and 1980i DUV (Deep Ultraviolet) immersion lithography tools, aligning its rules with export restrictions on these machines unilaterally imposed by the United States last year.

What you need to know about Valley fever after 19 infected at California music festival
Several people were recently infected with a fungal lung infection at an outdoor California music festival. As of Aug. 21, at least 19 people who attended or worked at the "Lightning in a Bottle" festival in Kern County in late May tested positive for Valley fever, according to the California Department of Public Health.
