Heather Rae and Tarek El Moussa Speak Out on Christina Hall, Josh Hall Divorce...at the Airport
Heather Rae and Tarek El Moussa gave a somewhat awkward airport interview about the status of their upcoming show The Flip Off now that Christina Hall and Josh Hall are getting divorced. Quick reminder: Tarek and Christina used to be married, and the entire concept of the show was them going up against each other—with their new spouses—in a HGTV house flipping series.
"The show's gonna continue, it's going to be a lot of fun, and my ex-wife, she still has no chance," Tarek told E! News at the airport, while Heather added "It's still going as planned without Josh."
Tarek then said that he and Heather didn't get to spend too much time with Josh on camera before the split, and that their "interactions on camera were limited." Heather then added that they "support" Christina, while Tarek reiterated "we're here to support her."
Christina and Josh filed for divorce on July 15 after less than three years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" and listing a date of separation as July 7. A source told People that the pair have "had issues in the marriage for quite some time," while an Us Weekly insider noted that “They are in production of The Flip Off without Josh. They’re moving forward with the show without him.”
Christina previously spoke to Us Weekly about working with Josh on The Flip Off, saying “I mean, it’s never easy to work with a spouse so we’re just really discovering. I’m used to being the boss of everything, especially when it comes to design. This is a whole new dynamic for us and it’s gonna be interesting how it plays out.”
