Heavy Rock Legends Motörhead Launch Range Of Sex Toys

Legendary rock group Motörhead have launched their own range of sex toys – dubbed the ‘official pleasure collection’.

The band, fronted by rock’n’roll wild man Lemmy, the only constant member, have lent their name to four vibrators bearing their famous logo.

“One of the songs on our debut album [1979′s ‘On Parole’] was called ‘Vibrator’ so we had to have our own one day, right? Apparently, it was worth the wait!”, explained the singer.

Neal Slateford, co-founder of online sex shop Lovehoney, said: “We designed these classic vibes for both fans of Motörhead and rock lovers, as well as those who just want a cool-looking toy to add to their collection.

“The range captures the rock'n'roll lifestyle of the band perfectly, and offers a unique counterpoint to the traditionally pink and purple toys that currently dominate the market.”

The toys aren’t the first products Lemmy and co have given their name to.

The band – best known for albums ‘Ace of Spades’ and ’No Sleep ‘Til Hammersmith’ – have already launched Motörhead lager and headphones.

Motörhead made headlines recently when they stopped a show in America after just three songs, with Lemmy, 69, saying he was unable to continue. The band subsequently pulled out of two shows and the frontman is now said to be recovering from a lung infection.

In a interview last month, he confessed to a number of recent health scares but dubbed himself “invincible.”
