Heidi KlumLeather anything is one of Hollywood’s coolest trends, with stars like Blake Lively, Kim Kardashian, and Kerry Washington on board. It never goes out of style and the material elevates a look in seconds, like when you pair a sleek leather jacket with simple biker shorts or a sheer dress. Leather pants make for an even bolder ensemble, but Heidi Klum proved the traditionally edgy fabric can look surprisingly feminine, too.
Klum wore a long leather skirt with an eye-catching drawstring waist. The practical length, which, not to mention, is also ideal for the chilly temperatures ahead, gave the fashionable piece an elegant touch, making it a versatile addition to anyone’s wardrobe. Plus, as we know, maxi skirts are trending right now, though Klum’s version feels fresh and slightly cooler than its denim cousin. I’m totally on board.

I’d be remiss not to mention the skirt’s fall-perfect material. Leather has long been known as a key player in autumn fashion, considering it’s durable and heavy, and thus, cold-weather friendly. Leather jackets crop up everywhere this time of year, because they’re warm but trendy, and leather skirts are a welcomed addition.
Klum’s styling also set her ensemble apart. While you can dress up a leather skirt with a fashion-forward piece, Klum tested the limits by opting for a tiny white sports bra. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen a celebrity go with an itty-bitty bra, either; Salma Hayek recently wore a bralette with cargo pants, Sydney Sweeney showed off her bra for a black-tie event, and Serena Williams paired an athletic undergarment with an extravagant tutu. Klum stuck to the black-and-white theme by throwing on an oversized white button-up that felt low-key business chic.
Klum finished the look with white and gold sneakers, reflective aviator sunglasses, chunky gold jewelry, and a huge, Katie Holmes-inspired Louis Vuitton bag.
