Hello, patriots!

For anyone who is pretty much only getting through lockdown 2.0 with some familiar nostalgia: Friends reruns, wearing velour tracksuits as your Working From Home attire and listening to No Doubt on repeat, we have some good news.

Reese Witherspoon is bringing us a Legally Blonde virtual reunion.

Nineteen years after the movie arrived, making an even bigger star out of Witherspoon and presenting us with a new side of the sorority girl and giving us endless quotes like: 'Whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed', Witherspoon has rounded up the old cast for a good cause.

Benefitting hunger relief charity World Central Kitchen, the video will be presented by Saturday Night Live's Chloe Fineman - who funnily enough does a great Witherspoon impression, along with Drew Barrymore, Carole Baskin and Meryl Streep.

According to Deadline, Witherspoon's Elle Woods will be joined by Luke Wilson, who portrayed her law professor boyfriend and later husband Emmett, Selma Blair aka enemy turned best friend Vivian, Jennifer Coolidge (Paulette 'I'm taking the dog' Bonafonté), Holland Taylor (Professor Stromwell), Jessica Cauffiel (Margot), Alanna Ubach (Serena), Ali Larter (Brooke) and... Matthew Davis who broke Elle's heart as Warner Huntington III (boo).

Witherspoon teased the reunion on her Instagram on Monday, asking fans: 'Don’t you want to see if Elle & Warner finally make up?'

Legally Blonde was first released in cinemas in 2001, with a sequel - where Elle takes on congress to introduce a bill banning cosmetic testing on animals, in homage to her chihuahua Bruiser Woods (also a 'gemini vegetarian') - released two years later in 2003.

A Legally Blonde 3 has been in the works over the past few years, catching up with Elle and the gang two decades later. Earlier this year, it was confirmed that the third instalment would be written by Mindy Kaling.

The virtual reunion will be broadcast on Witherspoon's production company Hello Sunshine's YouTube channel at 3pm PST today, (Tuesday, October 20) so prepare to stay up late tonight if you want to watch as soon as it comes out!
