Helly Hansen sweaters recalled over 'flammability concerns' in Canada
The company said they have not received any reports of injuries or issues yet
More than 128,000 Helly Hansen sweaters and hoodies have been recalled in Canada due to flammability concerns.
A Health Canada notice issued on Wednesday stated that a variety of Helly Hansen winter wear has been recalled because the material either does not or "may not comply with the Textile Flammability Regulations".
The national health agency is asking people to "immediately stop using the recalled Helly Hansen sweaters and hoodies" and to contact the company for a product replacement credit.
Although a notice has been issued, Health Canada also said that the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada yet.
The notice includes a list of all the purchase orders included in the recall and are located inside the sweatshirt or hoodie with the side seam label.
