Pascale Marchand, a former flight attendant and union official advocating for aviation workers' health and safety, is now running for a Hamilton city council seat. One of many Canadians to pivot careers during the pandemic, Marchand says COVID-19 underscored the social determinants of health and drove her to seek public office.
