Henry Golding and his wife Liv Lo have welcomed their first child together.

The Crazy Rich Asians star shared a picture to his Instagram of himself and his fitness instructor spouse sharing a special moment with the new addition to their family.

The 34-year-old wrote: "This woman right here. Beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Your strength brought us our greatest joy. Thank you, I love you."

Meanwhile, Lo appeared to confirm the baby arrived on 31 March in her own post.

Sharing a series of snaps of herself in hospital before a final photo of a partial close-up of the baby's face and hand, she remarked: "On March 31st our lives changed forever. Link in bio of leaving Instagram for #maternityleave (for the time being).

"I’ll prob be up during midnight breastfeeds checking in on you, but otherwise “I’ll be back” xx."

In a link to her fitness website, Lo said she would be taking 40 days of maternity leave and that she would not be getting back to work or "sharing with the world how I am feeling" until after that period had passed.

The pair, who married in 2016, did not show their baby's face in full and did not disclose any details on the infant's name, sex or birth weight.

They had announced they were expecting back in November, as Golding shared a photo of him alongside Lo, who was wearing a bump-hugging dress.

In a second shot, the beaming actor pointed toward his wife's stomach.

He captioned the snap: "2021 is already looking brighter ❤️👼🏻."
