Thanks to Instagram, in January, Justin Bieber's fans became aware that his mustache had returned. The infamous facial hair, which Bieber's wife, Hailey Baldwin, has revealed on multiple occasions that she does not like, showed up in multiple photos on the Changes singer's Instagram page.

Now, to Baldwin's glee, Bieber has finally shaven off the 'stache. In a new Instagram photo, Bieber revealed his clean-shaven face. "I shaved," he wrote. "MUSTASHIO went on holiday, but he will be back in due time."

Baldwin was sure to let the world know how she felt about the absence of "Mustachio," however brief it might be.

"Yeeeeee 😍," Baldwin wrote under the comments, clearly in a very joyful mood about the news. Scooter Braun, Bieber's manager, seemed to have the opposite opinion of Mrs. Bieber. "Where the hell is richardo mustachio?? What have you done with him??? 😂," he wrote.

In July 2018, Bieber posted a photo of a sweet moment with Hailey Baldwin, but the comments got a little (playfully) heated when Ryan Good, Bieber's road manager, commented that he'd like to see the facial hair back for Baldwin and Bieber's wedding. "Also. Grow the mustache back for the wedding."

Baldwin was not about to let that comment go. "Don't u dare give him that idea you lunatic," she wrote in response to Good.

At the couple's second, formal wedding in South Carolina last September, the mustache was nowhere to be seen (likely at the request of the bride). In her ELLE March cover story interview, Baldwin shared details of her relationship with Bieber, and she made clear that—mustache or no mustache—their PDA is not stopping any time soon.

“Oh my gosh," she said. "It’s endless. We’ll get on the phone with each other and be all cute and annoying, doing baby talk, and my friends will be in my ear like, 'Uhh, I literally want to puke. I hate you guys.' "
