For most of us, voting in the general election involves heading off to the nearest church or school hall.

But for some people, it’s a little bit more exciting. We’re talking about the polling stations that are a bit more unusual – actual launderettes, family homes, pubs, and even mobile libraries that have been transformed for the day.
