Hilarious “Found Cat” ad posted on Craigslist

It’s not out of the ordinary to find a lost ad on Craigslist but what makes this one particularly odd is that the lost “cat” is not actually domesticated.

A recent “Found Cat” ad from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, features a mountain lion lounging on a front porch of a house.

“Cream colour, no tags, doubt it’s chipped,” the ad description reads. “Very large and well fed.”

There’s also a lurking kid in the window adding to the hilarity of the entire ad along with the reason for why the owner can’t keep the mountain lion. It turns out their “dog seems scared of it.”

But the 75-pound, two-year-old, female mountain lion was actually found a couple of months ago resting on Kathy and Floyd Inman’s porch in Heber City, Utah, and spent two hours lying there, Fox13 reports.

“We’ve been in the Park City/Heber area for 30 years, and I’ve never had one that close to me before,” Kathy said.

The cat was eventually kept overnight for observation and released back into the wild. But one has to wonder how many responses the ad actually got.
