Season 14 of The Voice came down to two teenagers, Brynn Cartelli and Britton Buchanan. And since this show isn’t called The Voices, only one could be the winner.

After fellow finalists Kyla Jade and Spensha Baker finished third and fourth, respectively, Carson Daly announced 15-year-old Brynn Cartelli as the winner. Brynn made Voice history as the youngest winner ever, as did her coach, Kelly Clarkson, who became the only replacement coach to win in her first season. Brynn had some words of gratitude for her rookie coach.  “Thank you, Kelly, so much. You’ve been an inspiration to me since I was so young. The fact that I’ve been able meet you and work with you and share ideas with you has been such a blessing. I love you so much.”

The rest of the finale was packed with performances by stars including Jason AldeanFlorence and The MachineRyan Adams, alongside runner-up Britton Buchanan; and Voice coach Jennifer Hudson, who was joined by her former backup singer and second runner-up Kyla Jade. But the night belonged to Brynn, who not only won but also got to perform a duet with Julia Michaels.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Voice for free on Yahoo View.
