Investigators are searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian along U.S. 301 before fleeing the scene early Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers released a crash report that says an unknown driver crashed into a man in the southbound lanes near the intersection of U.S. 301 and 44th Avenue East around 2:37 a.m. According to a news release, the vehicle may have been a white Nissan sedan.

According to a crash report, an SUV and a motorcycle also hit the pedestrian in the road later. Those two drivers remained on the scene, troopers say.

The pedestrian’s name and age have not been released to the public. Further information about the crash was not immediately available Friday morning.
