The Sanderson sisters are ready to put a spell on you for a great cause. Like many events in Hollywood, actress Bette Midler’s annual Hulaween fundraising gala was impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Since founding the nonprofit the New York Restoration Project (NYRP) in 1995, she’s hosted the event to help continue preserving open green spaces in New York City. Luckily, this year, Hocus Pocus costars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are joining forces with her for a virtual Halloween reunion to benefit the organization.

In honor of the spooky trio, the event has been renamed In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover. The anticipated occasion will pay tribute to the 1993 dark comedy film in which three witch sisters return from the dead to torment a New England town. The three actresses are set to reprise their roles as Winifred, Sarah, and Mary alongside actors Omri Katz (Max Dennison), Thora Birch (Dani Dennison), and Doug Jones (Billy Butcherson).

Hosted by Cassandra Peterson from Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, the one-hour event will give fans an in-depth history of the Sanderson sisters and their ancestry, “which dates back to Merlin.” Viewers will also get to know more about their education, music careers, love life, among other topics. What’s more, the virtual reunion will feature an impressive roster of guest stars including Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Jamie Lee Curtis, John Stamos, Adam Lambert, George Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, Sarah Silverman, Kenan Thompson, and Billy Eichner.
