This Morning star Holly Willoughby has been left heartbroken after the death of her uncle.

The news was confirmed by Holly's older sister Kelly, who works with the presenter on her lifestyle brand Wylde Moon. Kelly posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram yesterday (October 1).

"Sleep deep Uncle Ray. We are heartbroken to say goodbye so soon. Thank you for all the love and the laughs," she wrote.

"The kids will forever remember you turning up, taking your hat off and watching with glee as packets of Haribo dropped to the floor. We will miss you so much."

Holly shared a broken heart emoji under the post, while several of the TV presenter and her sister's friends wrote supportive messages in the comments.

"Sending so much love to all your family. May he rest in peace," This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna-Herbert wrote, while All Saints singer Nicole Appleton added: "So sorry darling sending love xx."

"So sorry Kelly. Sending you all love and light," ex-EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite added.

Last month, Holly paid tribute to former This Morning expert Uchenna Okoye, after the the dentist passed away at the age of 53 from a "sudden illness."

In a statement on her Instagram story, the presenter wrote that she was "unbelievably sad" to hear of Okoye's passing and shared her fond memories of working with the dentist.

"Unbelievably sad to hear of the passing of @druchennaokoye," she wrote.

"We first worked together many moons ago with @oralb_uk and she was very kind to me...and then of course again, giving her advice on @this morning. Sending all my love to her family."

This Morning airs on weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
