Hollyoaks bosses aren't even telling the cast about 25th anniversary storylines
Believe it or not, but Hollyoaks turns 25 later this year, and just know that the bosses are planning something big.
While we're hoping to get as much information out of the cast over the course of the year, it looks like that will be easier said than done, as the cast themselves aren't being kept in the loop as to what the plans are.
Speaking to The Mirror, Maxine Minniver star Nikki Sanderson admitted that they're just as much in the dark as we are.
"We are not being told anything about what will be going on for the 25th anniversary!

"So it is as much a surprise for us at the moment as it is to you. It's all very exciting. Everyone wants a bit of it, everyone wants to be a part of it," she said.
"We all want to know what is going on but we don’t know. Leading up to the anniversary, I literally can’t tease anything cos I’m in the dark."
Recently, the show paid a touching tribute to two of the soap's most memorable characters: Helen and Gordon Cunningham, the parents of none other than Tom.

The pair tragically passed away in a car crash in 2004.
Now, 16 years later, they were immortalised in the village with a plaque in their names in the newly opened market.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing at E4 at 7pm.
