Hollyoaks Favourites will repeat three classic Silas Blissett Halloween episodes

From Digital Spy

Hollyoaks will revisit serial killer Silas Blissett's reign of terror next month.

The infamous soap villain will be the next character to receive special dedicated episodes of Hollyoaks Favourites, following weeks featuring Brendan Brady, Carmel McQueen and Clare Devine's most defining moments.

Next week, the soap will flashback to Halloween 2011, when Silas (Jeff Rawle) was plotting his final revenge against nurse Lynsey Nolan (Karen Hassan) – only for it to go disastrously wrong!

Here are the synopses for next week's Hollyoaks Favourites:

Wednesday, June 3 – Lynsey fights back

Fright night is in full swing. Lynsey hits Silas over the head with something heavy and runs. Silas sees 'Catwoman' and hits her from behind… but it's his daughter Heidi he's killed, not Lynsey.

Thursday, June 4 – Mercedes makes a shock discovery

Mercedes is horrified when she realises Silas has just killed his own daughter and she is petrified for her life.

Friday, June 5 – Silas gets arrested

Riley knocks Silas to the ground, wanting to know what he's done with Mercedes as he has to tell Jason and Seth that Silas killed Heidi. Silas is arrested but won't say where Mercedes is.

Fans had long wanted Silas to return for a killer team-up prior to Breda McQueen's death earlier this year, but show boss Bryan Kirkwood ultimately denied there were any such plans.

"We've had great fun with all of [Silas's] returns over the years," Kirkwood told The Sun. "Most recently when he joined up with Lindsey Butterfield, the Gloved Hand killer.

"That was serial killer in cahoots with serial killer [and] was great fun at the time but we won't be revisiting that."

Hollyoaks airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm. Wednesdays through Fridays on E4 feature classic episodes called Hollyoaks Favourites to compensate for the soap suspending filming.
