Hollyoaks has revealed that James Nightingale's downward spiral will get even worse next week.

Next week's episodes start off on a sour note for James, as he and Romeo discover that Juliet is planning to leave the village with her mum.

Juliet even steals money from Marnie's business to fund their fresh start, but Romeo and James try to stop her.

James urges Donna Marie to do the right thing by cutting ties with Juliet to give her a chance of a better life. However, he's soon given some home truths which leave him feeling powerless.

Things aren't all bad for James, as he bumps into his ex-boyfriend John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) and they agree to go for a drink.

Sadly, James soon has more drama to deal with when stubborn Juliet insists on sleeping at the Lomax flat, rather than staying with her family.

Romeo blames James for pushing Juliet away. James bitterly agrees that he's at fault, which leads to him entering self-destruct mode again.

Just as John Paul is about to leave for his first official day at work, having been asked to take on the role of deputy head at Hollyoaks High, Marnie asks him to help her deal with James and his worrying behaviour.

John Paul finds James sitting on the floor of the village drinking wine. Will he be able to help?
