Hollyoaks' Warren Fox punches Felix Westwood as the pair come face-to-face for the first time

From Digital Spy

Hollyoaks' Felix Westwood has been welcomed to the village in true Hollyoaks style – with a slap from former lover Martine Deveraux and a punch from Warren Fox.

In tonight's (March 30) E4 first-look episode, Felix (former EastEnders star Richard Blackwood) was left reeling after seeing his three children together, but it wasn't long before Celeste (Andrea Ali) and Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon) started demanding answers.

Although Felix tried his best to explain, it soon became clear that no-one wanted anything to do with him.

"We've got all the information we needed," a disgusted Celeste told Felix before storming out, quickly followed by an angry Mitchell doing the same after more harsh words.

Later, Felix ended up coming face to face with none other than Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas), shortly after Warren opened up to Sienna (Anna Passey) about his terrible childhood.

"I had the worst upbringing, Sienna," he told her. "Beaten, bullied, humiliated and deprived on a daily basis. No love or affection from anyone ever. I had so much violence towards me that it made me violent, with not much care for consequences."

Viewers already knew that Felix and Warren share a traumatic past, after Warren opened up to his son Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) and Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) about how he was bullied by another child in the children's home where he grew up.

We also already knew that Felix is the one who tormented Warren, and it didn't take long for Warren to lash out at his childhood nemesis when they came face-to-face for the first time in 30 years.

"I deserved that," Felix admitted, after Warren punched him.

By the end of the episode, Mitchell (Imran Adams) had asked his dad Felix to stick around after being convinced by his boyfriend Scott (Ross Adams) and cousin Lisa (Rachel Adedeji) to give him a second chance.

This may be the start of a beautiful relationship for Mitchell and Felix, but we can't imagine Warren will be too happy to keep seeing Felix around...

Speaking about the dark past between the two characters earlier this year, Warren Fox actor Jamie Lomas teased that Felix is a huge part of the reason why Warren is the way he is, and that will be explored in more detail as the storyline continues.

"That's going to be explored and there's going to be some fireworks there, I can imagine," Jamie explained. "Richard is a good guy, great to work with and I'm just hoping that there's some juicy stuff coming up – there is so far!

"I think the storyline is going to run on for quite a while, so I'm excited about that."

Hollyoaks airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.

Wednesdays through Fridays on E4 will feature classic episodes called Hollyoaks Favourites to compensate for the soap suspending filming in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
