As Hollywood Gets Back To Work, Husslup Launches Staffing Tool To Help
Husslup, the talent discovery platform founded by industry executive and producer exec H Schuster, is launching a new staffing tool designed to help studios and production companies keep track of hiring.
The company is launching a new staffing rosters tool to allow companies to track all of the talent, including actors, writers and crews, that they are staffing on a production in one place.

It comes as productions start ramping up after the writers struck a deal with the studios and the actors are currently in talks with the AMPTP.
Launching on October 16, the tool will allow executives to create and import a roster of open roles on a project, set the rate, start and end date. They will also be able to search its network of above- and below-the-line creatives to hire.
As part of the launch, Husslup and Showbiz Software, which is run by Cast & Crew, are integrating their platforms to allow Showbiz customers to directly import the open roles in their line-item budgets to Husslup.
Husslup, which is still in beta, has around 7,000 members, some 65% of which self-identify as diverse. Partners include NBCUniversal, the Russo brothers’ AGBO Films, Tyra Banks’ Bankable Productions, and Blumhouse Productions.
Husslup CEO-Founder H Schuster said, “We believe this is one of the most useful innovations we have launched in our staffing workflow to date. And we are excited for our partnership with Showbiz to create efficiencies for their customers and ours. Our goal is to help get Hollywood back to work quickly.”
Showbiz Vice President Steve Bizenov added, “Our innovative partnership with Husslup adds a lot of value for our customers as the industry rapidly staffs up post-strike. Studios, production companies and creative freelancers all win when the staffing process is streamlined with the budgeting process.”
