‘They should be home with us’: Families of Hamas hostages ask for their release during London rally
Families of Hamas hostages rallied in Trafalgar Square to ask for their immediate release.
“This is not a political issue, this is a humanitarian issue. Kids, women are not part of this war. They shouldn’t be there, they should be home with us”, the aunt of a nine-month-old hostage said at the rally organised by The Jewish Leadership Council on Sunday 22 October.
The woman’s brother, Yarden Silberman-Bibas, was reportedly kidnapped by Hamas along with his wife Shiri, and their children Kfir, nine months, and Ariel, 4 .
Speaking through tears, she recalled her brother's last “terrified” message - “I love you” - and asked the British government to bring all the abducted families safely home.
