"My mom had a Hoover carpet cleaner for years that she used regularly. With three kids and two pets, we decided it was time we had one as well," a happy customer said. "I was shocked at what this pulled out of our carpets! Our carpets are four years old, and we have never cleaned them other than plenty of spot cleaning from accidents. A fellow five-star fan said that the dirt "lifts up well. "If you have a spill, pet accident or stubborn area you're going to want to break out the hose and attachments," they added. "There is a rubberized brush as well as a more traditional bristle brush but I found the rubberized brush to work better. It's pretty easy to spray, scrub, then vacuum the affected area."
