Hotel Staff Threatened During Terrifying Ram Raid Robbery

On December 13, New South Wales police released footage of an armed robbery which occurred at a hotel in Queanbeyan during November.

Just before 12.30 am on Thursday, November 15, an alleged stolen car smashed through a hotel on Crawford Street, police said in a statement.

In this video, shared by police, a male can be seen exiting the vehicle, armed with a firearm. He then proceeds towards two staff members who flee. The armed man is seen firing a shot before threatening staff. He then steals cash and flees the scene in the car.

No one was physically injured, police said.

“Investigations into this brazen robbery are continuing to not only arrest those involved but to also prevent harm being inflicted on an innocent member of the public,” Robbery and Serious Crime Squad Commander, Detective Superintendent Daniel Doherty said in the statement.
