Hunting knife used to rob diner in Marystown, police say

Sask. Christian youth leader acquitted of sex-related charges in B.C.

A large hunting knife was used to rob Chase's Diner in Marystown on Thursday night, according to RCMP.

Police said Friday that a masked man entered the diner on Thursday at about 11:30 p.m., and took money from the restaurant.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old man from the community, who is set to appear in provincial court on Saturday.

There were a number of people inside the restaurant at the time but no one was injured.

RCMP said the investigation continues, and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
