Husband ‘Pimped Out Wife To 2,742 Clients Over Four Year Period’
A husband pimped out his wife for sex with thousands of clients over a four-year period, police said.
The 54-year-old man allegedly made more than £5,000 a month by hiring out his 46-year-old spouse.
She slept with 2,742 different clients - equating to almost two punters every single day.
It’s alleged that his wife would welcome clients at their home in Meaux, north of Paris, France.
In the meantime, the husband would sit outside in the family car with their 5-year-old child.
The couple, who have been married for 10 years, were arrested last Thursday, according to Mail Online.
But only the man - who allegedly used websites and texts to arrange his wife’s diary - was charged with pimping.
If convicted, he faces up to a decade behind bars.
Prosecutor Emmanuel Dupic said that the husband exercised a “psychological power over his wife.”
“… preventing her from stopping submitting herself to the sexual needs of customers who were sometimes very tough,” he told the town’s criminal court.
Prostitution is legal in France. But it is illegal to solicit for business. The man has been released on bail.
