Southgate Township has confirmed that the ice will come out of the Dundalk arena.

Township CAO Dave Milliner said that the recreation department will be looking into using the arena floor for other indoor recreation activities when it is safe do so.

The cost of keeping the ice in was raised by the Facilities Manager at the Southgate Council township meeting on Feb. 3 and was left as a decision for the Emergency committee.

In Grey Highlands, all arenas was to reopen upon return to the colour-coded framework with an updated policy in place.

This year, following amalgamation of Dundalk and Flesherton, South Grey Hockey had been using both rinks.
