Have your say on ideas for Big Marble Go Centre outdoor play structure

·1 min read

Big Marble Go Centre and the City of Medicine Hat are seeking public opinion on the design of the centre’s outdoor play structure, following its relocation this summer.

The structure is being relocated nearer to the centre’s entrance, to make possible the construction of a multi-court pickleball facility.

A Request for Proposal has already been submitted for the structure, however public opinion regarding playground theme and amenities is also being collected. Hatters are invited to share their opinions through an online survey available on shapeyourcity.medicinehat.ca.

“We want to ensure each of the proposals aligns with our playground management plan,” said Jamie McLeod, city manager of asset planning and facility operations. “We expect each of these concepts will be unique and provide some diversity to our playground portfolio.”

The survey is open now until May 16 at 8 a.m.
