One person was killed when a Ford Escape left southbound Illinois 255 in Madison County and crashed through a fence, Illinois State Police said.
The victim’s name has not been released.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday at milepost 13 just north of Stutz Lane, according to a news release from Illinois State Police.
No other information was released about the crash.
