Strict English Teacher Demands Handwriting So Neat It Looks Like It's Printed

These letters may look like they’ve been printed out using the latest fancy font.

But they are actually the work of students in China - who are being taught by their strict English teacher how to “write in print.”

The astonishing images of the free-hand compositions by pupils at Hengshui High School, in Hebei Provine, were posted online this week.

And they’ve since gone viral.

Some commenters have said that the amazingly neat handwriting would give ancient scribes a run for their money.

But, despite the students’ perfect spacing and fine grasp of italics, it appears not all of them pleased their teacher.

Several suggestions appear on some of the letters.

The teacher has written “definitely need more practice” and “better” on top of some of the work.

And another features the phrase “Not one stroke more; not one stroke less” - referring to that particular student’s tendency to write overly short lower-case Rs.
