Indian Harbour man, 41, killed in crash in Glen Haven

A 41-year-old Indian Harbour man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Glen Haven, N.S.

Halifax RCMP say they were called Wednesday at 9:20 p.m. to a report of a crash on Peggys Cove Road. The report indicated the vehicle was on fire with two people trapped inside.

Firefighters were able to control and contain the flames, according to a media release.

First responders freed the passenger, who had non-life-threatening injuries. However, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Federal Aviation Administration said on Wednesday it had found no significant safety issues in a review of United Airlines and ended its enhanced oversight and approval process for the carrier to add aircraft and services.
